Thursday, February 19, 2026, the Administration of Islamic Cultural Centre represented by the ESSI-Nyamirambo school Head Teacher Mr. Abdu NTAMUTURANO attended the ceremony of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Rwanda Muslim Community (RMC) and the Muslim World League MWL), marking a significant step in strengthening cooperation for the benefit of Muslims in Rwanda. Through this partnership, the Muslim World League will support a range of initiatives, including the sponsorship of international competitions in the recitation and memorization of the Holy Qur’an, known as the Rwanda International Qur’an Competition. The collaboration will also contribute to the construction of mosques at standard set by the Leadership of Rwanda, education, and community development, among other initiatives aimed at empowering the Muslim community in Rwanda.
